Appearances Hair Studio is a full service hair studio that offers an exceptional standard of professional cut, color, hair care services along with esthetics and bridal hair and makeup. We are known for our raw-creativity, trendsetting style, and proprietary coloring techniques.
Puja Uppal of Appearances Hair Studio has been in the beauty industry for well over 18 years. She was one of the skilled ones to get the Marvel certification in hair and makeup. She also has a Shahnaz Husain Esthetic certification. Shortly after completing her schooling she went on to open up her first hair salon @ 508 Yonge St.
Between her first salon and TODAY life happened. She got married, had kids and finally decided to continue in her field of love, laughter and happiness.

You may have had the wonderful opportunity to see Puja on various TV programs such as the "Moms Show" and/or "3 Takes" and most recently Voice of Toronto TV. She has also had the wonderful opportunity of working on set with local TV actors, Movie actors and Musicians.

This was my first visit and got my hair coloured and hilites done. I absolutely love how it turned out! Puja is great. Friendly and easy to talk to. She asked what I wanted to do for my hair, took the time to do a strand test and explain to me how and what is needed to achieve the look for my hair type.
